Heat pumps: Ducted ASHP Tier 1 & 2; Ductless ASHP Tier 1, Tier 2, & Air-to-water ASHP; Heat Pump Water Heater: $950; must be Energy Star certified

Walking Mountains Science Center offers rebates to residential customers for several measures including cold-climate heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and induction cooktops. All rebates are a maximum of 25% of project costs, up to a total maximum of $3,000 per home per year, subject to specific criteria on Walking Mountains’ website here.

Heat pump: $2,000 for cold-climate heat pump

Heat Pump Water Heater: $750 for an Energy Star HPWH

All residential rebates: 25% of project cost up to $5,000 per year per account (includes all rebates – insulation, heat pumps, HPWHs, induction, etc.)

Heat pump: 25% up to $1000. Heat pump water heater: 25% up to $500

Heat pump incentive: Up to $450/ton for an air source heat pump, up to $500/ton for a ground source heat pump. Heat pump water heater incentive: $350
